Frequently asked questions

What’s the difference between product and solution-based pricing?

If you already know the product you need — Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, and so on — product pricing takes you straight there. Solution-based pricing starts from a business outcome instead: tell us what you’re trying to achieve and we’ll point you to the right fit.

Is solution-based pricing replacing product pricing?

No. Solution-based pricing runs alongside the existing product-based model as a parallel path — it isn’t replacing the product pricing you use today. You choose whichever journey fits how you buy.

Can I see pricing in my local currency?

That’s what the pricing calculator is for. Rather than leaving to work out conversions yourself, you’ll get a transparent estimate in your own currency, up front.

How do the buying models — PAYG, Pre-Purchase, and Pre-Commit — differ?

At a high level: pay as you go bills for what you use, pre-purchase lets you buy credits up front, and pre-commit trades a term commitment for a better rate at scale. Detailed guidance on the tradeoffs is on the way — this section is still being finalized.

Do I have to talk to sales to see a price?

No — you can get a self-serve estimate first and talk to sales when you’re ready. The goal is to make it easy to explore pricing before any conversation.
